The Salon Festival format thrives on the fact that changing hosts open their own - sometimes private - doors for an evening and create a place of encounters and culture within their four walls. Thinking and talking about socially relevant topics in small circles, experiencing culture together and experiencing inspiration - that is Salon.
In April, we had the great pleasure of opening our doors as well. ONE FORTY WEST hosted a Salon together with the Hotel Melia Frankfurt City, which is located in our building. On this occasion, 60 participants listened to the SPIEGEL bestselling author Teresa Bücker during her inspiring reading in the restaurant & skybar OBEN.
She gave us an exciting insight into her book "Alle Zeit: Eine Frage von Macht und Freiheit | wie eine radikal neue, sozial gerechtere Zeitkultur aussehen kann". With the book, Teresa touches on a topic that is more important today than ever before: Why do we have no time? And does social justice mean the equitable distribution of time?
These and other questions were discussed in the salon with artists and culture enthusiasts. Where better than up high at ONE FORTY WEST?
After the reading, the breathtaking backdrop, small snacks and drinks invited to further conversations in a relaxed atmosphere. Of course, the view of the Frankfurt skyline was not missing.
